Probably one of the most common questions I get asked is which method is best!...

...-and the answer is this...

Look at every carpet cleaners advertisements and they will rave about how their method of cleaning is the newest & the best thing since sliced bread. So the answer to the question will depend on who you ask and what they use. Every cleaner is likely to say their method is best regardless of what it is!

It stands to reason then, that this is why there is so much confusion on the subject.

Hunts Cleaning Ltd have all systems available to them!

That's right, we can use any system you like including -

Bonnet Cleaning - A Rotary pad spinning on a carpet which has been soaked in a cleaning solution.

Shampooing - Crystallizing foam shampoos brushed into your carpet and then vacuumed.

Dry compound powders - Moist absorbent powders sprinkled into the carpet and then vacuumed out.

Portable Hot Water Extraction - Large noisy machine in the home that rinses hot water and chemical through the carpet.

The list goes on and above is only a brief description of the methods involved in these techniques.

There is only one method however that I would ever use on my own carpets at home!

This method is TRUCK MOUNTED STEAM CLEANING

The machinery all powered by petrol engines whilst all other methods by electricity.

Its basically like comparing your car to a golf cart going down the M1.

The Water temp is higher

The Pressure is greater

The Recovery volume is higher

All equipment is outside with just two hoses entering your home!

The result is an all round better and more efficient clean.

We dont have to use chemicals in our steam rinse!!! .. Thats right we use a steam and fresh water rinse only which sanitises your items and is friendly for use in the home!!

So when it comes to methods I will just say this " if you have a preference then let us know & we will use it, but if your unsure then take advantage of our vast knowledge of methods & systems and let us advise you on what will give you the best result".
